SuperHappyDevFlat
Finally, I decided to show up at the first edition of SuperHappyDevFlat. I hope I'll meet some interesting people, get new ideas and maybe work a bit on the HattrickIRC project.

Risk management
The most interesting topic in the "Project/Quality-Management" lecture is about risk management in software projects. It gives you quite a good overview of how to deal with risks and what actions are needed to get you prepared.
The figure below is from the lecturers slides:

But still, I'm asking myself how people who're doing business are thinking about this. Is it too theoretical? Is there another way to keep the risks in your control? Or even more: Do you actually care about the risks?

Working..
Since January I'm working as a part-time software developer at bitforge, a small company which develops J2ME applications (well, mostly games). I have to admit that coding games is totally new for myself. It's somewhat interesting, challenging, difficult and frustrating at the same time..
Hope I'll get useful soon =)
